Neel Patrick announces December Christmas cabaret at Simpsonville Arts Center!

It's been a while since we last got together for Christmas... let's fix that!

I am so excited to announce that, after four LONG years, I am finally doing another Christmas show! It has been much too long since we last got together for Christmas, and I think that 2023 will be the perfect year to do it.

Save the date and join me for MELODIES UNDER THE MISTLETOE: A Simple Christmas with Neel Patrick and Friends at the Simpsonville Arts Center on Tuesday, December 19th at 7:30pm! Melodies will be the first show presented by Hartworks Theatrics, a new producing arts organization.

Tickets are available through the Hartworks Theatrics Box Office at

This year, I’m thrilled to be teaming up once again with the extremely talented Lance Bastian, who serves as music director and accompanist! We’ve got a great set list in the works that features some of our favorite holiday tunes in a jazz trio style! Alongside Lance, Melodies will feature Wil Johnson on bass and Jonathan Gilstrap on percussion. Special guest performers (and dear friends) include the immensely talented Rod McClendon, Jonathan Kilpatrick, Riley Fincher-Foster, and Mollie Wheeler.

I’m so excited for this cabaret and how it is going to help launch Hartworks Theatrics, my newly formed not-for-profit producing arts organization, into the Upstate’s ever-growing artistic landscape.

Be sure to mark your calendars because this will be a simple Christmas you won't want to miss!
